Cassie Russo

Entertainment industry entrepreneur, award-winning choreographer and an infectious educator, Cassie Russo is a born innovator. Constantly inspired to create new movement as the owner and artistic director of CaRu Entertainment, Cassie’s choreography brings with it an innate ability to empower and promote self-confidence through a femme fatale style of dance.

As a director and choreographer, Cassie was the head coach of the Arena Football League’s 2012 Philadelphia Soulmates Dance Team and co-founded the USA Rudgy League’s Philadelphia Fight Vixens Dance Team. Cassie was a featured Hip Hop and Jazz Funk choreographer on the PBS show Tempo.

In her professional dance career, Cassie has appeared on The Today Show, Good Day Philadelphia, Good Morning America, Live! With Regis and Kelly, and Pix Morning News. Cassie debuted on her first national tour as back-up dancer for the world-renowned country act Rascal Flatts on their “Bob that Head” tour. Cassie performed as part of the National Lacrosse League on both the New York Titans Dance Team and the Philadelphia Wings Angels Dance Team. She also had the chance to co-host the Comcast OnDemand series Girls Night Out — showcasing Philadelphia nightlife including restaurants, clubs and clothing boutiques.

In her latest venture, Cassie is honored to serve as a Jazz Funk faculty member at Millennium Dance Complex in Philadelphia – hailed worldwide as the premiere studio for commercial dance at the highest level of service and instruction.

Cassie has had the pleasure of working with celebrity choreographers Robert Hoffman, Dave Scott, Jafar, Brooke Lipman, Shotyme, and Pasha and Anya from Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance. Cassie trained at the Millennium Dance Complex in L.A. with Shane Sparks, Tabitha and Napoleon, Brian Friedman, Donyelle Jones, and Shorty of MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew along with Britney Spears’ lead dancer Jesse Santos, and Pussycat Dolls choreographer Mickey Minden and owner Robin Antin.

Cassie has taught countless master classes including those at Going Pro Entertainment’s East Coast Pro Dance Convention and for the Lehigh Valley Dance Alliance. She was also a resident choreographer for Moravian College and a guest choreographer for the Fightin Phils Dance Team for the Reading Phillies.

Cassie holds a double-major degree in Dance and Liberal Arts from DeSales University.
