Pre-Competition Team

Where Potential Takes Shape.

Designed for dancers in Grades 3–6 who are ready to deepen their training, expand their performance opportunities, and continue growing as artists in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Building the Artist Within

Serving as the bridge between our Studio Program and the nationally recognized CaRu Crew, the program emphasizes strong technical training, meaningful performance experiences, and personal growth. Dancers develop versatility across multiple styles while building confidence, discipline, teamwork, and artistry through consistent rehearsal and performance.

At CaRu Entertainment, we believe every rehearsal is an opportunity to grow—not only as a dancer, but as a person. Our faculty encourages students to pursue excellence while fostering creativity, integrity, and a genuine love of the performing arts.

Throughout the season, dancers perform in our professionally produced annual Showcase and participate in regional competition experiences, creating lasting memories while continuing to develop their craft alongside teammates who share their passion for dance.

Elective Class Selection

Every dancer's journey is unique, and our elective offerings allow students to continue building their artistry beyond the required curriculum. We highly encourage all dancers to include Ballet and Technique in their weekly training, as these classes develop the strength, control, and technical foundation that support success in every style.

Whenever possible, we also encourage participation in all choreography classes, providing additional opportunities to perform, collaborate, and grow as versatile artists. Together, these experiences help dancers gain confidence, refine their craft, and make the most of everything the program has to offer.

Growing Artists. Lasting Confidence.

The Pre-Competition years are about so much more than preparing for the next level. They're about building confidence, discovering artistry, developing meaningful friendships, and learning what it means to be part of a team. Whether your dancer continues on to the CaRu Crew or simply continues to grow through the performing arts, we're honored to be part of this chapter of their story.
