Health and Safety Guidelines
COVID-19 Health and Safety Guidelines
- Instructors and students (and anyone entering the studio) must wear a face mask at all times. Students will have to wear a mask for the entirety of any indoor session. If a student needs a break, they can step outside the studio to remove their mask. Water breaks are allowed but we ask that when a mask must be removed to drink water, the student and instructor are 6 feet apart.
- Dancers are encouraged to bring a personal hand-sanitizer with them to the studio and use before entering the classroom.
- Staff and students will practice good hand-washing hygiene including frequent hand-washing and use of hand-sanitizer.
- Parents/guardians are asked to limit entering the studio and remaining in the lobby unless necessary in order to limit non-essential visitors and spectators.
- Social distancing is encouraged (when not actively participating in activity).
- Students cannot attend class if within the past 10 days they have been diagnosed with COVID-19, had a test confirming they have COVID-19, are waiting on a test to confirm if they do or do not have COVID-19, have knowingly been in close contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or if student or a member of the student's household has/have been advised to self-isolate or quarantine by a doctor or a public health official.
- If student or anyone in their household is experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms including fever, cough, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell, severe fatigue or nausea/vomiting, they must refrain from attending class.
- All students or parents/guardians (if student is under age 18) will be required to fill out a COVID-19 Health and Safety Acknowledgement and Liability Waiver.
- CaRu Entertainment will continue to monitor CDC, federal and state guidelines.
